If you have just got a new telly for Christmas and its hd, perhaps 720p or 1080p and reckon the picture is incredible, then reckon again. Normal telly looks crap no matter how excellent your lcd or plasma telly is. This is because you are not getting hd pictures unless you are watching a blu ray film or other hdcontent you are still seeing low-res telly – the standard analogue picture quality everyone gets in the uk – even if you have a built in freeview box its still not full hd, its just the usual terrestrial signal, ok it might appear marginally better, and you might get more stations but like I said its nothing like the full real HD signal.What’s the point in having hd telly if you get poor images
